Public Relations Event Prior to the Implementation of the Academic Development Project
On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the Department of Farm Mechanics, Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University, organized a public relations event prior to the implementation of four academic development projects conducted in collaboration with the Office of the Cane and Sugar Board (OCSB). The projects include:
- Phase II of the Climate-Friendly Cane and Sugar Industry Development Project
- Phase II of the Project to Elevate Thailand’s Cane and Sugar Industry Toward Global Agricultural Leadership
- Development of the Sugarcane Economic Corridor (SEC)
- Model Large-Scale Sugarcane Farm Management Project to Support the Utilization of Agricultural Machinery
The purpose of the event was to provide key stakeholders—including the project inspection and acceptance committees, officers from the Office of the Cane and Sugar Board, and staff from the four regional Cane and Sugar Industry Promotion Centers—with a clear understanding of the project teams and their respective objectives.
In the afternoon session, a focused group discussion was held under the title:
“Brainstorming Session on the Operational Guidelines for the Management Committee of the Model Large-Scale Sugarcane Farm Project to Support the Use of Agricultural Machinery”
This session aimed to formulate strategic approaches to support the effective management and implementation of modern agricultural machinery in large-scale sugarcane farming operations.
