On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Department of Farm Mechanics, Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, led by Assoc.Prof. Pongsak Chontanasawat, Head of the Department, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratana Tangwongkit Special instructors, along with faculty members and staff, warmly welcomed a group of 12 trainees from Niger and officials from Burkina Faso participating in the “Post-harvest Management and Rice Value Chain” training program, organized by the Office of Extension and Training, Kamphaeng Saen.

The visit included a study tour on the topics of “Agricultural Machinery in Rice Production” and “Overview of Thailand’s Agricultural Equipment Manufacturers.” A collaborative meeting was also held to discuss potential partnerships between the the Department of Farm Mechanics and companies in the agricultural machinery industry, represented by Mr. Yananpol Lipnachokchai, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Machinery Industry Group, Federation of Thai Industries.

C.L.P. Engineering Co., Ltd. also participated by showcasing and demonstrating post-harvest rice innovations at the Mechatronics Laboratory Building, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Kamphaeng Saen.
